At Aquamark we know our staff must receive the necessary training and support to perform their jobs to the standards expected by our clients.
In order to meet these expectations, when selecting our staff we consider their professionalism, skills and willingness to develop to their full potential - and then support them in every way possible.
We are committed to investing in all of our people and are aware that this has a positive impact on the service levels we deliver to our clients.
Ongoing Training and Development
Everyone employed at Aquamark is trained to use the latest cleaning methods and technologies so that we can compete in the commercial cleaning marketplace. Training is tailored to the individual as we appreciate that not everyone makes progress at the same rate.
We also promote training in other equally important areas, such as communication, soft skills, planning and time management. Articulate communication is something we expect of all our employees and we ensure they reach the required standards before they are dispatched on projects.
Nurturing talent is another important feature of our commitment to our staff. We offer mentoring and development support to those who display the skills needed to fulfil more demanding roles.
Safety Protocols
There is nothing more important than the safety of our workers, which is why at Aquamark we have introduced a lone workers policy. On occasion, office cleaners are required to work outside normal hours, alone, in empty offices. Those operating on an overnight or late shift are provided with a 24 hour mobile number they can call if any problems arise. They are also required to check in and out so we know they arrived at the job safely, and home afterwards.
Investors in People
We are currently working towards the Investors in People standard and in addition we have secured the services of Peninsula, a firm of HR specialists. They make sure our workforce is motivated, satisfied and has access to development training.
Our commitment to developing staff not only benefits them but also our clients. Our aim is for total client satisfaction, and we will continually invest in our staff so we can make sure our aim is met.
