Recruitment Policy

Aquamark’s staff are its ambassadors so we take our hiring policies very seriously. Aquamark is an approved member of Verifile so that we can efficiently check the facts provided by candidates applying for positions within our company. CRB checks are conducted as standard so that we can be sure of employee suitability.

All candidates must provide proof of identification, tax information, proof of qualifications and references before beginning employment with Aquamark Limited.
Performance Monitoring
The entire Aquamark team, from cleaning operatives to supervisors, is appraised and rewarded on performance related factors including punctuality, quality of work, communication, presentation and speed of reaction, always resulting in a superior level of service.
Our retained HR consultants, Peninsula Employment Law, oversee all employee related matters on our behalf and ensure policies and procedures are in line with current legislation.

Training and Development
Everyone employed at Aquamark is trained to use the latest cleaning methods and technologies. Training is tailored to the individual as we appreciate that not everyone makes progress at the same rate.

We also promote training in other equally important areas, such as communication, soft skills, planning and time management. Articulate communication is something we expect of all our employees and we ensure they reach the required standards before they are dispatched on projects.

Nurturing talent is another important feature of our commitment to our staff. We offer mentoring and development support to those who display the skills needed to fulfil more demanding roles.

Safety Protocols

There is nothing more important than the safety of our workers, which is why at Aquamark we have introduced a lone workers policy. On occasion, office cleaners are required to work outside normal hours, alone, in empty offices. Those operating on an overnight or late shift are provided with a 24 hour mobile number they can call if any problems arise. They are also required to check in and out so we know they arrived at the job safely, and home afterwards.
