When the UK’s largest display and graphics production company, Service Graphics, was having extensive building works undertaken, they requested building contractors Conamar call in a cleaning firm to ensure the site was kept safe and healthy for the duration of the build and to put a plan in place to make certain the premises were 100% dust free on completion of the project, ready to house the multi million pound printing plant.
Aquamark was called in and between December and January, they installed one cleaning operative on the site on a daily basis, and upped this to twelve staff on days when the rest of the office complex needed additional cleaning as a result of building dust and debris.
The dust was a major issue as the warehouse housed overhead ductwork which fed the air conditioning and heating systems of the premises, thus a vital task to keep this under control on a daily basis for reasons of health and safety.
On completion of the project, all the ductwork and pipes had to be thoroughly cleaned and polished to ensure there was no dust fall out when the new printing plant was installed, as damage to this high value machinery would have been incredibly costly.
Towards the conclusion of the project, Service Graphics’ office manager was onsite on a regular basis and commented to Conamar’s site manager that he was impressed with the standard of cleaning being displayed by Aquamark. The site manager mentioned that he was delighted with the level of communication between Aquamark’s operatives and the builders.
As a result of the high standards of work and service displayed, Aquamark was offered a contract to deliver daily office cleaning services to Service Graphics’ four large offices together with waste disposal, cloakroom and sanitary waste requirements, monthly window cleaning and cleaning of the warehouse shutters.
