Brentford Project is a mixed-use development located in Brentford, London, featuring 876 homes, retail, leisure, cultural, and community spaces.
The manager of the site explained the previous struggles they had faced with lack of communication prior to cleans being carried out. To carry out the cleans at this development, rope access technicians need to landing onto residents’ terraces. Therefore, prior notification of cleans to residents is extremely important.
The management team at Brentford Project were trying to find a cleaning company to provide a solution to the communication issues they had previously faced.
Aquamark were recommended by the management team at Royal Wharf (another Ballymore site) due to the clear communication and prior notification we provided at this site.
Aquamark clean all external windows at this site every four month via rope access using the davit arms on site. Where there aren’t davit arms installed, we use a deadweight counterweight system.
On-site, there are a few overhangs which have windows located underneath which cannot be access via rope access. To overcome this issue, we use the Water-Fed Pole system to clean these windows.
Prior to carrying out a clean at this site, Aquamark plan in advance and provide the facility manager with cleaning dates for each of the six buildings as well as the dates for this davit arm testing which has its own schedule.
