The exposed beams and framework requires attention to detail and precise planning to ensure every area is accessed safely and effectively, without compromising the building’s structure or finish.

With extensive experience working on complex high-rise developments, our team was brought in by the developers to deliver a regular cleaning programme designed to maintain the building’s immaculate appearance all year round.

Solution

To maintain Neo Bankside’s appearance, Aquamark delivers a comprehensive cleaning programme every two months – totalling six cleans per year.

Each clean involves a full wipe down of both the glass and the exposed structural beams, ensuring the building continues to reflect the high standards expected of such a prestigious development.

The primary method of access is via the on-site Building Maintenance Unit (BMU), which allows our operatives to safely reach all areas of the façade. However, recognising the importance of reliability and continuity, Aquamark also has contingency plans in place.

In the event of a BMU breakdown or maintenance issue, our Rope Access Technicians are fully equipped to carry out the clean using rope access with counterweights.
